Hi, I'm Rosie Battista from, and of course, I'm not really naked, but I am bringing you a naked recipe and this is a cracked pepper ranch dressing with using all whole foods and a different kind of fat than you're used to having in a dressing. So we're going to start with a little apple cider vinegar, we have some fresh lemon, we have of course, our cracked pepper, we have some roasted garlic, some cashew nuts which is going to give us the creaminess and also the fat which will make you satisfied and satiated and some almond milk and I just want to tell you a little bit about how I made the roasted garlic, really really simple, easy, I took a clove of garlic, sliced off the top, put it in a roasting pan and baked it at 350 for about 15 or 20 minutes until it gets really soft and yummy and you can squeeze out the garlic out of the shell. Okay so we're going to add a half a cup of raw unsalted cashews. We're going to add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. We're going to add the juice of a fresh lemon and this is a handy dandy tool that just kind of gets all the juice right out of the skin. We're going to add our roasted garlic. Garlic is really really good for you so when you can add it, it provides great flavor and a lot of health benefiting properties as well, and we have some almond milk and we can add that later on to see what consistency our dressing is going to be if we want it thicker, we'll add a little more and some cracked mixed pepper. Now we're going to mix this up until we get a great consistency. So we're just going to pour this out into our little pitcher. Um, that looks fantastic. So we might want to add just a little bit more pepper, depending on what you like, delicious, creamy, no guilt, cracked red pepper ranch dressing. So really all I did was take a box of spinach and a box of arugula, throw it into a bowl and I had my creamy dressing which you can make ahead and last for three to four days and you never have an excuse for not having a healthy decadent salad. The cashews in this dressing are going to keep you really satisfied and full. So you have a complete meal right here in one simple little naked bowl. So here you have the proof that you don't have to have oil-laden, caloric dense dressings to make your salad creamy and delicious. You can simply use naked ingredients and have all the satisfying yumminess that you need. I'm Rosie Battista, Chow for now while I go chow on this.
