Hi, I'm Rosie Battista from So cooking naked means using foods in its most natural simple form. So today we're going to make a tomato ranch dressing using all whole foods and you'll be surprised at some of the amazing ingredients. So what we have here is some 0% Greek yogurt, plain, some spinach, some tomatoes, avocado, some roasted garlic and some nutritional yeast. So I want to just back up for a minute and just give you a little tip about roasting garlic. I simply took a clove of garlic and I sliced off the top and I placed it in the oven in a roasting pan and I baked it for about 20 minutes at 350 and I have these beautiful roasted garlic cloves that I can use to enhance the flavors of dressings. Okay so we're just going to dump everything into our blender. It's going to be that simple. So we put in our yogurt. Some just, a handful of raw spinach just because we can and we're going to add some nutritional punch to our dressing and you're not even going to notice it. So we're going to put in our tomatoes and I like to use the grape tomatoes because they're a little bit more flavorful, usually all year long. Avocado is a great way to add a healthy fat. Now we're going to add nutritional yeast which is not yeast in the form that you think of baking bread but it's really high in protein and it's a great source for protein and antioxidants and it's terrific for you. And now we're going to take our roasted garlic and we're just going to squeeze out the garlic out of the shell. It's anti-inflammatory. So there we have our dressing and we're just going to blend this up into a nice creamy texture. I like to use pretty antique pitchers to serve my dressing in so here I have a little pink glass measuring cup and I will put my dressing in here and serve it on the table next to my salad that way. So here's the deal. You do not have to ask for this dressing on the side. I'm Rosie Battista with Ciao for now, while I go pour this on my salad and I chow on this.
