Hi there. I am Joseph Yacino, YaDa chef in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. And this great space that I'm working out of is Kitchen 9 5 3. Kitchen 9 5 3 is the counties number one professionally shared culinary space. So scones or scones as some people like to call them, seemed to be wrapped in this mystery. They're really easy to make. And I am going to take the mystery out of making scones with the recipe on how to make scones with Crisco instead of butter. So let's get started. We're going to have flour, eggs, Crisco, some sugar, some baking powder and a pinch of salt. You just add your dry ingredients together. Some flour, baking powder, some sugar, pinch of salt. Then you're going to add your Crisco. And you're just going to cut that in. You're just going to mix or cut in this Crisco so that your flour looks like it is very small pieces of peas or fine pieces of sand. And you'll see this is what it looks like. Everything is all incorporated. To that, you're going to break one egg, add some milk and you're going to whisk this together. Just bring it together. Nothing fancy. Pour that in and you're just going to mix this all together. Just mix your batter up. Now the batter is going to be a little bit wet. That's okay. That's what you want. And it's going to all come together. And they again pour this out on to a lightly floured surface just to bring it all together. Lightly flour your surface. Take this out and you'll see it all comes together. You can either pat it out, roll it out or do whatever you want. And that's it. It's ready to cut. Okay. So these baked for ten to twelve minutes. You can see that they are nice and golden. And these are ready to go. You can serve them with whatever you want. Some cream, some fresh fruit, some berries. And here you have it.
