Hi, I'm Bee, I'm a cookbook author and food Blogger, I specialize in easy Asian cooking. And you can check out my recipes at EasyAsianFood.com. Today, I'm going to show you to make satay spice blend. It's very easy to make satay and there are two ways of doing it. You can either go by a dry spice blend, or a wet marinade. So, for the dry spice blend, what you need is, one tablespoon of turmeric powder, one tablespoon of chili powder, half a tablespoon of coriander power, one tablespoon of sugar and one teaspoon of salt. So, you want to mix all the spices together. What I usually do is that, I will make a big batch and then, I'll keep it in an airtight container, like this. So, what you do is, just stir everything around and make sure that they're combined well. So, when you're done, you can put everything into this container. And when you're ready to make the satay, you can just take your chicken or your meat, or your pork. And just put some these spices on top and marinade for a few hours, and you're ready.
