Hi, my name is Bee, I'm a cookbook author and a food blogger. I specialize in easy Asian cooking and you can check out my recipes at easyasianfood.com and my cookbook Easy Chinese Recipes at Amazon. Today I'm going to show you how to make Asian meatballs. We are going to need about 8 once of ground pork, a little bit of Chinese fine spice powder, some sesame oil, some salt and some chopped scallion. To make the filling you need to mix the ground pork with all the seasoning here and here I have the filling already premade and you can see the the texture here. To make the Asian meatball first of all you want to make sure that your hand is a little bit wet and you could take about one teaspoon of the filling and you just roll it into a ball like this. Now after you make the meatball you want to pan fry it with a little bit of oil until both surfaces are lightly browned. Here I've prepared meatballs and they are nicely browned on the surface.
