Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to add water to facial moisturizer. So we have our moisturizer here and we have a sponge. So the best thing to do when we need a little bit more moisturizer on our face is to really take a sponge, get the sponge wet, rinse it a little bit and then apply the moisturizer onto her face. We don't want to dilute and moisturize her so much with actually putting it in a cup together and mixing it. We just want to get it damp to really make the skin moisturized or else it's a bit of an overload and it's just going to disrupt the purpose of the lotion itself. So with that damp sponge, we're really just hydrating the face as well as moisturizing. It's basically the alternative step to spraying water on your face before putting the lotion on. So it's a quick easy step and it's a nice one to have especially if you're going to be putting makeup on top of your skin. It's just a double hydrating technique. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you how to add water to moisturizer.
