Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm here to answer your question, what highlighting powder is good for combination skin? Combination skin is literally when you are dry in some areas and oilier in others which is generally the T zone. So that's the forehead, the nose, the cheekbones and a little bit of the chin. And so when we think of the T zone, that's the oily area and that's also the same area that we are highlighting. So the best thing to do for this is to go with a pressed powder. It's the most compact and it's going to give you the most coverage. So we're doing coverage while highlighting and enhancing. So we're going to go in with our brush and just dust it along to the areas that we want to eliminate that shine because the shine is going to take place where we're naturally oily. And then we're going to go down the nose. That's another high point of the face that we're highlighting but powdering that shine. We want dimension but we don't want oiliness, there is a difference. So we're really just going in, pressing in some areas and then just swiping in others. The technique is pretty much up to you. And that's what I'm using is I buy Makeup Forever, it's great, all the industry people use that. So pressed is really he key to all this, pressed powder because it's eliminating the shine but still enhancing your features. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you the best highlighting powders for combination skin.
