Hi, my name is Mario Raez with Freeway Insurance, and today we are going to be talking about car insurance options and what you really need. When you're purchasing car insurance you're going to be offered several different options. But what you really need is just three basic coverages to always keep in mind when you're shopping for insurance. The first one is uninsured motorists. Now this coverage really protects you against someone in the event that you're involved in an accident and the other driver, who is at fault, is uninsured. Make sure that you get this quote on your coverage. And then you can go ahead and decide if that's the right option for you. If you're purchasing full coverage, rental car coverage is also an option that you want to keep in mind. Now this provides a rental car coverage in the event that your vehicle's involved in an accident and it's in the shop for repairs. Now keep in mind that this will not cover you if you decide to go on vacation and want to rent a vehicle. The last coverage that you want to go ahead and think about is tow service. Now this covers you, that your vehicle's involved in an accident and it provides tow service. That way your vehicle can be towed to a body shop or a mechanic. Keep in mind that this does not cover any type of mechanical break down should you get a flat tire, or your car wont start. That's completely different, called road-side assistance. This is just a tow service. So to go ahead and recap with the coverages that you really want to consider are uninsured motorists, rental car coverage, and tow service. This is Mario Raez with Freeway Insurance.
