Hi, I'm Michelle Simone and I'm a hairstylist, and today we're going to show you how to do that front little pouf thing also known as the pompadour or the Snooki if you're into the "Jersey Shore". So what we're going to do is take a fine tooth comb because we're going to use it to backcomb the front of your hair. Basically you're going to start by taking the front section that you want to have as your pouf, as your pompadour. I'm doing you know, a nice small sized one right in the middle of her forehead and you're going to comb it out and then in order to get it to stay we're going to spray it a little bit with hairspray before you backcomb it. So you're going to take the hairspray and just spray it a little bit and that will help it stay, comb it through so it's evenly distributed and then while pulling your hair forward, you're going to comb backwards, just a little bit at a time because you want to keep it neat looking but you still want to get the volume. So I'm just backcombing, a little bit at a time until you get some nice volume and then you're going to take this and pull it back. If you want the sides to go in a little more, you can just shape it as you like. I like to give it a little bit of a twist and then you're going to pin it in place. I'm using two bobby pins and I'm doing it into an X pattern and that will keep it the most secure. So one going forward to the left and one going forward to the right. And then, you can either put you hair up with this and give it kind of a 1950s style or you can leave your hair down or curl it however you want to style it is up to you. But, I'm Michelle Simone and we just showed you how to do a pompadour.
