Hi, I'm Michelle Simone and I'm a Hairstylist. And today, we're going to show you how to put mini buns into short hair. So, this is my own interpretation, but what I really like is to have three little mini buns in the back of your head right in the middle. So, that's the look we're going to go for today. I'm going to start by twisting the sides of your hair so that we get all of the hair into the buns. This is a great thing to do with short hair before you start any style, it's just going to keep all the pieces in place. So, I'm just going to twist that really quickly and pin it. I like to put my pins inside the roll, that way you don't see them. And I'm going to go ahead and do the same on the other side. So, I'm sectioning up, this off into three buns but you can do more or less as your hair will allow. And just section it off, it doesn't have to be neat; this is kind of of a cute messy look. So, I'm going to section it off and then just tie it for now so that we can work with one piece at a time. So, first section, the middle section and the right section. So, I'm going to start with the right section. You're going to take the hair and continue it in the way that you've twisted it. So, I'm going to keep twisting the whole piece until I can wrap it around itself into a little tiny button. And I'm going to secure this with some bobby pins or straight pins if you have them. Putting a couple in to each side and that should keep it nice and secure. So, now we're going to move onto the second section and do exactly the same thing. We're just going to twist it and pin it into place. And you want it to be at about the same level as the next one, but again, this is a cute messy look, so, however you like it. If you find that the bottom of your hair is sticking out, don't worry, just grab it and pin it up in the rest of the hair. So, now, I'm taking the last one and same with the first, you're just going to twist it the way that you twisted the front part of the hair. Wrap around and give it a few pins. And voila! There you have the mini buns for short hair.
