Hi, my name is Laura Heyns, I'm a hairstylist and makeup artist at Urban Betty Salon here in Austin, Texas, and today I'm going to show you how to wear iridescent makeup. So one of the cool things about iridescent makeup is a lot of it is a multiple use product so you can use it as eyeshadow, you can mix it in with gloss, nail polish, dust it across the cheeks, you can do just about anything with it. One thing to remember if tend to have oily skin this might not be the best product to use on your face, but you can still always pop a little bit on your lips or on your eyes. So on Madalyn today use one product for everything and the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to dust just a tad on a big powder brush and this is one of those things too less is more. So the first thing I'm going to do dust it all of it off my brush and then I'm just going to place the on the point of her face where I want the most to show up and I'm just going to brush it back and fourth. This is a lot different than powder, you don't want to kind of just wildly go at your face with the brush because it'll start to fling out everywhere and you'll end up with glitter in places you don't want it. So just kind of go back and fourth. So now I'm going to use the exact same product and I'm going to dust it across her eyelids, which we already have an iridescent eyeshadow base, so close for me perfect, and I'm going to place it in the center and when your doing the eyes you just kind of want to tap, so tap it into the lid and follow the round of the eye and then go through and blend it out and upwards. This is a really good product too that you can use if you only want to highlight your brow bone or on the inside corners by your tear ducts, that's a really good way to give a, like a bright pretty eye. So I'm just going to match her up on the other side and I'm place the brush right at the center of her eye and just slowly go back and fourth and tap over the round of her eye and then I'm going to blend out the edges. Little circles are always kind of the best way to blend out and hard lines. And this is cool too because if any falls or anything it's just going to kind of add top that kind of light cheerful look that this kind of makeup will give you. Underneath your lips you can take a brush similar to this and if you pop just a little bit right underneath and right on top it's going to give the appearance of a fuller kind of flirtier look. So those are kind of just some good tips that you can do with one product, which is really, really cool. So I'm Laura Heyns, I'm a hairstylist and makeup artiest at Urban Betty Salon here in Austin, Texas and I just showed you a good way to apply iridescent makeup.
