Hi, it's Rosie Battista with Of course, I'm not really naked, but I am going to show you a healthy, easy, naked apple sauce cupcake recipe. What I love about this recipe is, it's almost like eating a bowl of oatmeal, but it's in cupcake form. So, it's so much fun and it's so easy to make. So, first what we're going to do, is we're going to take raw, uncooked oats and we're going to ground them down in a blender into a flour like substance. We're going to put our oats in the blender, wait till you see, how easy this is, and how awesome. That's it, so, now, we've ground our oats, and it's down into a flour-like consistency. This recipe calls for two chopped apples. So, instead of making it so labor intensive, if you have the right kitchen utensils, it's really, really helpful. So, what I'm going to do is, just core the apple, I'm actually going to quarter it and take out where the seeds are. And place the apple, skin-on into the chopper, and just press down. What I love about this is, that all the apples are now chopped in literally two seconds, into nice, perfect, even chunks. So, they'll cook really nicely in the cupcake. So, I'm going to take my two apples, and put them in a bowl. Now, I'm going to mix all my wet ingredients together. So, I have my chopped apples, I have my two egg whites, I have my half a cup of apple sauce, sprinkle a little cinnamon, i'm going to mix this up. Now, I'm going to add in oat flour, my chia seed. Chia is really, really good for you, it has more iron than spinach, more calcium than milk. And you can stick it in any of your baked goods, in any of your smoothies, or in your oatmeal in the morning. Then, mix this altogether, these are amazing and they freeze really well. So, you can kind of have a grab and go breakfast as well. Now, I'm going to add walnuts, raisins, now, we're ready to fill our cupcake tins. So, you can actually use the paper cupcake tins, but I have these little silicone heart-shaped cupcake holders that bake amazing. And then, you have a little cup to serve them in and you don't have to throw away the paper. So, I like these and they're fun, because they're hearts. So, I like to do different things and you know, make interesting, just make something a little bit more interesting. So, now, we're going to fill these just like we would a regular cupcake tin. And what's going to happen when this cooks, is that the apples are going to get really nice and soft. And we'll fill them about three quarters of the way and then, we'll go back and we'll fill them up a little bit more. Okay, we're going to bake this at 350 for about 30 minutes. These is just so freaking cute. So, here we are, 30 minutes later, with our amazing apple sauce, healthy, naked cupcakes. I'm Rosie Battista with Ciao for now, while I chow on this.
