Hello, everyone. My name is Joi, freelance makeup artist in New York, and I want to show you all how to do a smoky eye with a Jordana eyeliner. So of course I have my eyeliner, I have my brushes here, my fluffy shadow brush and my smudger, and then I'm going to be using a little bit of black shadow to top it off. So what you want to do when you're creating a smoky eye the easiest thing is to start with using your pencil as a base so I'm just going to apply this here down by the lash line. It doesn't have to be really neat at this point because we're actually going to blend it out and smudge it. And I like to focus a little bit more on the outer corner here so I'll just bring that up there. Okay, so we've got the black on there as our base and then I'm just going to smudge it. And she actually already has a little bit of a gold shimmer on which is fine, it's actually okay to blend in other colors with the smoky eye. It doesn't always have to be black. Okay and we're just going to spread that across the lid going up towards the crease and I'm just creating a little bit of a, of a V shape in the corner. You can hold the lid taut if you need to. And again it doesn't have to be perfect because we're just creating the base now with the shadow or with the liner and then we're going to follow up with the shadow here in just a second. And I actually tend it go sometimes just a bit darker at the lash line and out to the, the corner just to give it like that nice smoulder fade effect. Okay, so then I'm going to do the same on the bottom. Okay open. Taking the liner and just going right under the lower lash line and focusing a little bit extra on the outer corner there. Okay, and depending on how dramatic you want it to be will determine, you know how far down you go up under the eye so we're going to take it down just a little bit further. And then again with the smudger, just going to soften the edge. Okay, and I'm making sure to work that up towards the lash line there. And the key with the this smoky eye is to make everything really well blended, okay so we've got that blended there. And then we're going to follow up with a bit of a charcoal-colored shadow and that's actually just going to set it and make sure that the, the waxiness of the liner doesn't cause every thing to travel all over. Alright, okay and open. Alright, so there we go a nice smoky eye with your Jordana liner. Go out and have fun with this guys and thanks for watching. My name is Joi.
