Hi, everyone. My name is Joi, makeup artist in New York, and I'm going to answer the question for you all, should makeup be matched to clothes or eyes. So, of course, we're going to be using shadows and a shadow brush. And the answer to that question, is actually to to you. So, it just kind of depends, for today's example, our model's wearing black. So, we're not necessarily going to go with a black shadow. But what I am going to do, is I'm going to go with more of a brown shimmery color. And we're just going to take that, and that's actually going to compliment her eye color very well, especially because of the shimmers. And it'll also look just fine with the black that she's wearing. One thing with your eyes, you want to keep in mind what you're doing, when you're doing makeup, is to have fun with it. There are necessarily no rules, when it comes to you know, matching clothes or matching eyes. And as a matter of act, I tend to not actually match the colors and the clothes, when I'm doing eye makeup. You don't necessarily need to have you know, blue eye shadow, blue lip, blue everything, just because you're wearing blue. Just kind of pick colors that compliment your skin tone, and that'll work with the outfit that you're wearing. O.k., so, we've got the brown shimmer here, it's very soft and it kind of just goes with everything, eyes, hair, clothes, unifies her look there. O.k., so, there we go, go out and have fun with your makeup. And thank you guys for watching, my name is Joi, bye.
