Hi. My name is Claire Coleman. I'm a hairstylist, and I'm going show you how to do a low side bun with a braid in the back. First thing we're going to do is we're going to pull all the hair to one side as best as you can and separate it in to three sections. We're going to do just a three strand braid for this look. And each section I'm going to spray with a light hairspray and then smooth through. It's just going to kind of help keep the flyaways at bay. Make sure you're using a light hairspray. That way it won't be too sticky and you can still be able to use more if you need it. OK. And then we're going to start our braid. And I'm going to take the back section, braid it. I'm going to just twist it over the middle section, pull it tight. While keeping hold of that section I'm just going to take the front section and fold it over the section that I just crossed over. And you're just going to continue that until you reach the ends of your hair, keep braiding. Keep pulling it nice and tight until you get to the end. I don't like to go all the way down to the ends. Because sometimes when the ends are nice and pretty it looks nice peeking out of your bun. But I am going to secure that with a little hair tie. OK. And then I'm just going to start at the beginning of your braid and just start twisting. And you're just going to keep twisting the same way you would for a normal bun. And it's easiest if you pin as you twist. So I'm going to just make sure to pin right there just to make sure that everything stays really secure. And keep twisting. And this is where I like to keep the ends out. It just makes it a little bit more whimsical. You can take the curling iron and curl them up a little bit more if you want it to look a little bit more dramatic. Or if you wanted to keep it really clean looking you can just tuck them right in. You can see from the back, from the front. My name is Claire Coleman, and I just showed you how to do a low side bun with a braid in the back.
