Hi. My name is Claire Coleman. I'm a hairstylist. I'm going to show you how to do a celebrity, half-up hairstyle. First thing we're going to do is we're going to take a heat protectant spray, spray all of our hair and work section by section using our one and half curling iron. And we're just going to curl away from the face, every section. So once you're done curling all of the hair your going to take just a little piece off the front. Well I'm going to actually first do a diagonal parting from the top of the eyebrow to the crown. And then that section I'm going to go to the top of the other eyebrow and just kind of separate that out. We're going to work with that in a little bit. So I'm just going to clip that off. Now after you've curled all of your hair it's in like this beautiful cascading hair. And we're just going to take a few pieces from each side. Take about a vertical section, whatever is left from ear to ear behind the ear. And just hold that kind of loose. Take a section from the opposite side. Make sure you have it smoothed out. But keep it nice and smooth. And you're just going to cross the sections over each other. And then just twist it once and then we're going to secure with a bobby pin. And you want to secure in a way that you're going to be hiding your pin. You don't want to see it poling through at all. And there we go. And OK. And then this front section that we separated we're just going to do a three strand braid. And you want to keep it looking like a little bit of side bang. So you want to do it very very loosely. Separate it into three sections and then we're going to loosely braid it. So we're going to take your right section over your middle, left over the section you just crossed. Keep it loose. And then just keep braiding until you get almost to the end, where you want to keep a little bit of your ends out. There we go. And then we're just going to tuck the ends into our pieces that we pinned before. And then you're going to take a hairpin and just secure that braid. You can see the style from the back and from the front. My name is Claire Coleman, and I just showed you how to do a celebrity style half up do.
