I'm Renee Byrd with Camp Gladiator in Dallas, Texas, and today we're going to talk some exercises you can do at home for your abs and thighs. The first thing we're going to go over is what's called a get up. Phenomenal exercise for both functional training, for your core, for your quads and for your abs. You're going to start at a very small squatting position with your hands out in front. As you lower to the mat, guys, you're going to roll up as tad as you can get, rolling back to the starting position. Your goal with it is to stand on both feet, just like you started. Another great exercise is the traveling lunge with the twist; where most people do this incorrectly is by turning the wrong way or by using their arms when they turn. So, what you're going to do is you're going to step forward with one leg, looking for that real 90-degree angle. So, as you step forward, your chest is nice and tall, back knee is down. Make sure that your, your knee and your ankles are line up in the front. You're going to take your weight and literally rotate into your leg. Again, the most important thing guys, it's not an arm exercise. Make sure you get that full range of motion in your core. Again, I'm Renee Byrd with Camp Gladiator and we just covered some great exercises you can do at home for your abs and thighs.
