Hi. I'm Monte Mathews from Monte'sHam.com, and I want to show you to make a ham in a crock pot which is a really wonderful thing to do especially if your oven is full of other things that you need at any kind of family festival or any kind of home entertaining. You can actually make this early in the day. It can sit in your crock pot all day and you'll have an absolutely beautifully braised ham. What you have to do of course when you're using the crock pot is to introduce a liquid. You could choose any juice you'd like. This happens to be mango juice which I think will give a wonderful tropical feeling to this dish. The other thing I like to do is my all natural glaze is a big part of the flavor you can get into a ham. And what's wonderful about this particular method is that I use about a third of a cup of my glaze goes into the bottom of the slow cooker and will add a lot of flavor to this ham as it cooks all day in the slow cooker. I have studded this ham at approximately one inch intervals with cloves. These cloves actually come with Monte's ham. They're fancy Madagascar cloves and we include them in our package. Our ham is beautifully studded with cloves. The mango juice and the sauce are in the crock pot and you just simply take the ham, put it in the bottom of the crock pot with the outer face, in other words the part of the ham that you can see, into the crock pot, cover the crock pot, turn it on and in a couple of hours you're going to have the most juicy tender delicious ham you've ever tasted. I'm Monte Mathews from Monte'sHam.com and I've just shown you how to make a gorgeous ham in a crock pot. And if you have one of my all natural nitrate free hams, you're going to really taste something dramatically different.
