Hi, I'm Todd Languell, The Flying Furniture Guy from R and D Wood Shop in Scotia, New York. Today, I'm going to show you how to remove wood plugs from, on wood chairs. You can see here that there's a plug in this chair. You're are ether going to have a cap and a cap is typically surface mounted so you can see the additional pieces. A plug is typically something that is flush to the surface. Okay, you're going to drill out this plug, put a small hole in the center and then what you want to do is you want to crack on both sides and then from the side. And you're basically folding the material in to the center and then, and then pulling it out. Trying not to create too much damage along the outside edge. You can see this, the materials will start to pop out, once you start to get it and you're ready and there it comes it pops right out, just like that. And the reason you would want to get that out is to get the screw out of there in order to reglue this arm. Hi, I'm Todd Languell, The Flying Furniture Guy and this was how to remove wood plugs on wood chairs.
