Hi, I'm Deserie, your Natural Remedy Advisor. I'm here today to talk with you about how to use herbs for stopping bowel distention, specifically, how to make herbal tea for bowel distention. And there are many different aromatic herbs and these are called carminatives that contain volatile oils that help relax stomach muscles, get more movement in the intestines and either reduce or eliminate gas and bloating. So, if you suffer from of these things, we've got some herbs here today to talk to you about that you can make a simple tea that will give you some relief. So, the carminative herbs, there are many of them and a lot of them are use in cooking and these include things like fennel which is really great for eliminating gas and bloating and even helps with bad breath. Cardamom is another aromatic carminative herb that you can use to stop bowel distention. Ginger is yet another ginger root and also very settling for upset stomach and coriander is another. And you can use these herbs either individually or in combination and basically, to make a tea, you just want to take one to two teaspoons of the herb and add it to boiling water, turn off the heat and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Let it steep for at least ten minutes to get the most benefit from it. And after it's been steeping for ten minutes, then you want to strain it. And I recommend that you drink a cup before meals, you'll get the most benefit that way. I'm Deserie, and this is how to make herbal tea to stop bowel distention.
