Hi. I'm Deserie your natural remedy adviser. I'm here to talk with you today about peppermint oil for long hair. Peppermint oil has stimulating and regenerative properties. It is great for dry itchy scalp and it also promotes new hair growth. There are a few different ways you can use peppermint oil. One way is to create a hair mask and this can be done by combining it with jojoba oil. To make a hair mask you can combine one to three tablespoons of jojoba oil with about four drops of peppermint essential oil in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid. You want to bring one cup of water to boiling. After the water begins to boil you can turn the heat off and remove the pot of water from the heat. Sealing up your jar tightly you want to place the glass jar in the heated water and let it set there for about ten minutes. In the meantime you can wet your hair and after the oil is properly heated you can comb the oil through your hair and leave it on for twenty minutes. It's suggested that you wrap your hair in a towel while you're waiting for the oil to soak in. This treatment will leave your hair very shiny and soft. To finish up the process you want to go ahead and rinse with cool water and then shampoo lightly. And then go about the rest of your routine. I'm Deserie and this is peppermint oil for long hair.
