Hi. I'm Deserie, your natural remedy adviser. I'm here to talk with you today about tea tree oil recipes for people and animals. Tea tree oil is an antiseptic which makes it great for disinfecting the skin. Tea tree oil or tea tree essential oil can be used to help and assist with many different conditions of the skin, including acne, athlete's foot, various fungal infections, yeast infection and many more that require antiseptic or a disinfectant to the skin. You can use it, you want to dilute it, tea tree oil is very concentrated, so you can use a five to fifteen percent concentration of tea tree oil. So you can dilute it with various things like carrier oils. You can use just about any vegetable oil that you have in the house. And just add five to fifteen percent if tea tree oil. My two favorite recipes are mixing tea tree oil with aloe vera gel is the first one. And basically you just take aloe vera gel and pour it into a container of your choice. Then you can add about, depending on the size of your container, here I have a two ounce container, so I'm going to add about ten drops. And it's pretty much that simple. Just cap it and shake it up. I use this for all kinds of topical applications, any kind of skin eruptions. It's very soothing. It will kill bacteria and it's very healing and even has some pain relief qualities. The other favorite recipe is to just simply add drops of tea tree oil to a spray bottle with water and then you can just easily spray it on to affected areas. I'm Deserie here today talking to you about tea tree oil recipes for people and animals.
