Hi, my name is Chris with Live Fit personal training out of Kansas City, and today we're going to show you a stabilizer exercise for the legs. It's called a Romanian Deadlift and we're going to do it single legged. So you're going to take about ten pound dumbbells, one in each arm. You're going to stand on one foot, so go ahead and lift your right foot and you're going to bend forward and let your right foot or right leg go back straight behind your body. Make a straight line with your back to your heel and then you're going to come back up all the way, go right back down, really focusing on your gluts and your core and making sure you are really working on those stabilizer muscles of the left leg. You're going to do about 10 to 15 reps and then switch sides. Again the key is to get your back flat and make a straight line from your upper back all the way down to your heel and then pause. And that's a great stabilizer exercise for the legs.
