Hi, I'm Chris with Live Fit personal training in Kansas City, and today we're going to show you a couple of exercises to strengthen the toes and feet. The first exercise is called the toe raise. What you're going to do is be barefoot and you're going to stand with feet together and you're going to stand up on your tippy toes as high as you can go and hold it and then come back down nice and slow, right back up, back down nice and slow. Get up as high as you can on the toes. This is also going to work the calves but the goal is to get high on the toes so you can get those feet strong. You're going to do about 10 to 15 reps and then we'll go on to the next one. The next exercise you're going to actually have a seat and you're going to take a series of pens, we've got about six ink pens here. We're going to set them out and you're going to use one foot only and you're going to use your toes to pick up the pen and move it over to the right and drop it. Next pen, keep going, then you go through all the pens, nice and controlled, keep reaching, stretch out there and then you're going to move them back. And those are great exercises to work the toes and strengthen the feet.
