Hi, I'm Chris with Live Fit personal training out of Kansas City. Today, I'm going to show you what's called a heels to ceiling exercise. It's specifically for the lower abdominals. What you're going to do is lay flat on your back on a mat, hands down to the side and out a little bit. You're going to extend your legs straight up and keep your feet flat and you're going to come slightly towards the ground and then swing up and lift your butt off the ground, take your heels towards the ceiling. Again, lift, really focused on using the lower abdominals to create the movement. Again you do not want to point your toes. You want to keep them nice and flat, 15 to 20 reps would be a great goal starting out on this exercise and that's a heels to ceiling exercise.
