Hi, I'm Chris with Live Fit personal training in Kansas City. Today, we're going to show you a rowing exercise for the arms. What you're going to do is stand facing a bench or a chair if you don't have a bench. You're going to drop your left foot back, lean your weight on your right foot and lean your body weight over your right hand. What you're going to do is take a ten pound dumbbell and you're going to hold it down at your side and then pull straight up, squeezing your back muscles as you pull and then let back down slow. Keep going, your focus here is as you pull up, squeezing your back muscles and then also squeezing your bicep. You want to make sure you do about 10 to 15 reps and you want to really keep your core tight so your lower back is protected. And this is a great exercise for the upper back and the arms.
