Hi. This is Kristie Kennedy, licensed beauty professional. Today, we're going to discuss the average time it takes to apply makeup. We know a lot of ladies spend an exorbitant amounts of time in the mirror. Well today I want to help you shorten that time. What's really great to do is put together everything that you're going to use on a daily basis for your daytime look. And so we're going to show you how to do it quick, simple and easy. The first thing I want to do is conceal. As we can see we have a few blemishes that we just want to cover up. So we're going to create a nice even skin tone. And it's great to really get underneath that eye area. Because typically we have dark circles under this area and a lot of times it's due to genetics, lack of sleep, it could be even your diet. OK. So once we have that concealer on we'll apply our foundation. You don't need a lot, because if you apply layer after layer what happens is you tend to clog the pores and it creates more harm than good. And then you're fighting acne, breakouts and we don't want that. So if you ever heard the expression, a little dab will do you. So as you can see I put it in the four corners on the forehead, the chin and cheek area and just blend it in. Make sure you get around that chin area, the base, because we want that to blend in as well. OK. So once we have created that nice even skin tone, what I want to use is a pallet that's already has all my colors. And so we'll set it and it's going to allow that makeup last a lot longer. Because once you apply makeup in the morning you don't want to spend time doing touch ups, a woman on the go. It has my blush, if you'd smile for me, apply it on the apple of the cheeks. It's nice and soft. Next we want to do our eye color. As you can see we already have the eye color, so even a trio. So I'll start with my mid color. It's a nice color. And the eyelids have been primed to allow that shadow to adhere a lot longer throughout the day. And I'll apply a little bit of gold here in the corners of the eye. And then for depth I want to add just a little bit of brown right at the base that lash line, for a nice soft look. Because this is for daytime. Now for a more dramatic you can use your eyeliner pencils, even cream based pencils, just creating us a little depth there. And lastly, open up for me, right there. We apply our mascara on, base of the lash and work your way up. And we know before we hit the door we have our nice neutral brown lip gloss. And voila.
