Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm here to answer you question on how to do makeup if you have brown eyes and tan skin, when you're getting your pictures taken. So, we have our lovely model that has brown eyes and tan skin. and there's very good makeup techniques that we can accomplish for pictures. And the best thing to do, is to go in with a neutral color palette at first, with our khaki colors, as an all over base for the eyes. The eyes are really what we're looking into when we see our pictures. They speak for us and they're just the window to our soul. So, the coat goes. a matte color is good for the all over, just to create a great base, just the same color as the rest of the skin, essentially. Maybe a tiny bit lighter. After that, we're going to go in with our brown, and just slightly contour the edges. You can bump it up a little more for a photo, because the lights are going to be a little more intense. And depending on the kind of pictures you're getting taken, if this were for a head shot or something, I would keep it on matte. If it's from, you know, a nice event, gold's very, very nice for brown skin and brown eyes. And just dusting it on the bulb will really let the light bounce off, of it and reflect very nicely. And it's so easy to do, it's just one step, sweeping it on the lid, little presses. And it's going to work well with the khaki and the brown that you've applied too. We're just working with the browns and like, the nice metallic is just a great surprise. But they still coincide and compliment each other and they work together. And open, and you can see, it's really complimenting the eyes as well as the skin tone, and it's looking really cohesive. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you how to do makeup for pictures, if you have brown eyes or tan skin.
