Hi, everyone. My name is Joi, makeup artist in New York, and I want to show you all how to use translucent powder alone. So I have my powder here, and I have my big powder brush. And using translucent powder by itself meaning without foundation or primers, or anything will really just require you to properly care for your skin. And to have something to touch up with. So first of all you want to if you are an oily person then you want to make sure that you have an oil free lotion that you are using before you are applying your powder. Because oily skin does need moisture as well. Just make sure that it's oil free. And if you are dry you want to make sure that you apply lotion, facial moisturizing lotion before you put your powder on. So just to show you here with our model, for someone that's a bit oily we would just make sure that we are pressing the powder into the T-zone. So forehead, nose, chin the places that usually get oily. Some people get a bit oily on the cheeks so we would press the powder in there. And then for the rest of the face you may need just a little bit less coverage. So you can actually just sweep it on there. Another thing that would be helpful is to make sure that you're carrying your compact with you so that you can touch up throughout the day. So hopefully this is helpful to you all, and thank you all for watching. My name is Joi.
