Hi, everyone. My name is Joi, freelance makeup artist, and I'm going to answer the question for you all: what makeup is needed for eye shadow not to crease? So I have my concealer brush, and I have a bit of makeup primer and eye shadow primer, and basically you could either use primer alone, or if you don't have a primer, you can use a bit of your concealer or foundation covered with a light layer of powder. So, I'm actually going to show you how to do it with an actual primer. I'm going to use the concealer brush, which is made of synthetic fibers, and that's actually good for applying the primer that I'm using because it is a cream so it won't stick to the brushes. Okay, so basically you want to put a light, even layer of the primer over the lid covering any areas that you intend to put your shadow onto. So we're going to into the corner of the eye, down by the lash line, out to the edges and if you are doing any work up higher towards the brow you can also do a nice even layer up there. Okay, so the primer is really important because it's going to make sure that moisture from your eyelid doesn't seep through which is what actually causes creasing in eye shadow. So we've got all of our surfaces covered here and she is actually ready for a nice smooth creaseless application of eye shadow. So thank you all for watching, and I am Joi, and have a good day.
