Hi, everyone. My name is Joi, freelance makeup artist, and I want to show you all today tricks for sagging jawlines. So I've got my angled contour brush and I have a bit of powder and the powder that I'm using is actually going to be a couple of shades darker than my model's skin. So you want to make sure that when you're picking out your powder that it is darker than your skin, usually sort of a brownish tone or a taupe if you're kind of fair. You want to take the powder on brush and then what you're going to do is actually go from under the jawline foreword towards the chin and just basically gently shading in with the powder. And the purpose of that is you want to draw attention away from the sagging areas. So we're not actually trying to make it very obvious that we have makeup here, we're just trying to create a shadow so that when the light hits less of the focus is actually on the jawline. Anything darker is going to make something appear smaller or further away. So just keep that in mind when you're applying your makeup. Okay, and I'm just doing sort of a dusting motion because as I said, I don't want to apply too much there. And then you'll just follow up on both sides and make sure that you kind of take it down towards the neck because you want to make sure that you blend out the lines. You never want to see a dramatic difference between your skin and your makeup. So there you go, that should actually help your jawline to appear a bit slimmer. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and thanks for watching.
