Hi, I'm Todd Languell, The Flying Furniture Guy from R & D Wood Shop in Scotia, New York. Today, I'm going to show you how to recondition antique wood furniture. I like to use a product called Restor-A-Finsih and what this does is take off all the old age on it, it kind of melts it, blends it all together. Now you can put the Restor-A-Finish right on a rag, put it right on your rag and you're going to wipe it right on. And there's some small scratches right there that it will take care of and you wipe it right on. Now for the areas that are a little stubborn I like to use a very thin steel wool a 4 ought or a 3 ought steel wool, pour it right on the steel wool, give it a good rub, in the direction of the grain and once you feel like you've got it a hundred percent covered and all the damaged area is taken care of you can go right back over it with your rag and wipe it right back down. And you can see that the blemish on the front is gone. And I'm Todd Languell, The Flying Furniture Guy and this was how to recondition antique wood furniture.
