Hi, my name is Tenish, and today I'm going to talk to you about how to flat iron hair without leaving indents. And I'm going to demonstrate this with a one-inch flat iron. Our model has beautiful hair, people flat iron for different reasons. Even if you have straight hair, it might be a little frizzy, so you'll flat iron it to get the frizz out. One of the most important things when using a flat iron, is to have the correct temperature for the texture of hair you're using. So, because her hair is already pretty straight, I would use a lower temperature than what I would use on someone with wavy or curly hair. Most important thing to do, not to get an indent, is to not leave the flat iron on one section of hair for too long. So, what you're going to do, is you're going to grab your section of hair to coincide with the side of the flat iron that you're using. One inch flat iron, about one inch of hair. So, you're going to take the flat iron, put it to the root or wherever it is that you need to flat iron it. You're going to bring it as close as you can and you're going to pull it out really fast. And this will prevent indents. So, you're going to take it, you're gong to put it and pull it out. So, I'll show you not how, how not to do it. You're not going to take it, leave it there and then, pull it out. That'll create an indent, that's not what you're looking for, you're looking for straight, flat, shiny hair without an indent. So, once again, put it close to the root, or wherever you're going to flat iron, really fast, take it out. If by any chance, you want to correct the flat iron, just go over it again. You can press over it a couple of times, pull it out and you're dent is gone, done. My name is Tenisha, and I've answered your question, how to flat iron your hair without an indent.
