Hello, I'm Erin Hendley a professional makeup artiest and today I'm going to answer your question. What eye shadows are mixed together to make a black eyeshadow? So we have different theories when it comes to white and black and black is the absence of all color when it comes to light, but we can create colors when it comes to painting and mixing to create a black color. However in makeup artistry when we want to make a shadow, which is a powder, we can't quite mix together our hard shadows that are already existing into making a black shadow. In short we can't mix any of these colors on the color wheel to get a black shadow in the form that their in so the best thing to opt for is to really just invest in a black shadow. If we were to have a cream based eye makeup application then we could probably work with our complementary colors in mixing them altogether to create a dark gray which would almost be a black, but if we want a complete black shadow then we really just need to opt for investing in an actual color which is going to be this one. Or else it's going to read a little less than black. So in short you really just need to purchase the black. I'm Erin Hendley and I just answered your question what shadows can you mix together to create a black shadow?
