My name is Bryan Beal. I'm a personal trainer, and today I will be covering bicep exercises using things found at home. A great weight for beginners is canned food. It's small, fits in the palm of your hand and you can complete your repetitions while working on your form. Another thing you can use is empty cartons. Such as milk or juice cartons. These can be filled with water for moderate weight. Backs of beans or rice are good for heavier weight and books or rocks in backpacks or reusable bags is great for heavier weight. The bicep curl exercise is performed by standing with your arms straight and your hands at your sides with your weight grasped in your hand. Bending at the elbow lifting your hand out in front of you and up towards your shoulder until your hand is up at your shoulder. This can be done straight up or across the body. Lower your hand back down until your arm is in the straight position. That is how you perform bicep exercises with things found at home.
