My name is Bryan Beal. I'm a personal trainer, and today I will cover boot camp style leg exercises. The first exercise, is the lunge. You perform the lunge by starting at your feet together. With one leg, you take a large step forward and bend your knees and sink until your rear knee is about an inch from the ground. With your rear leg, drive forward, and take another large step and repeat. You'll do this until you've performed the desired distance or the desired number of repetitions. The next exercise, is the squat jump. This is performed by placing your hands up, in front of you, sinking down into a squat position. Until your thighs are parallel to the ground. Driving hard, downwards, you will leap into the air, landing on slightly bent knees and sink to another repetition. The third and final exercise, is the mountain climber. This exercise is performed by getting in a push-up position and then, bringing one leg with your knee, up to your chest. You will begin by leaping with your feet into the air and driving your opposite leg, up into your chest. And kicking your bent leg straight. This should be done rapidly between twenty and thirty times a minute. That is how you perform boot camp style leg exercises.
