My name is Bryan Beal. I'm a personal trainer, and today I will be discussing the chin-up multi-joint exercise. A multi-joint exercise does exactly what it's name implies. It works the muscles around more then one joint. The chin-up upward motion required that you flex your elbows while relaxing your shoulders. The downward motion requires that you flex your shoulders while relaxing your elbows. You should maintain a flexed wrist grip to maintain your grip on the chin-up bar. This workout works the forearms, biceps, lats, and traps. And that is how you perform the chin-up multi-joint exercise.
