Hello. I'm Lori Ann Robinson, and I am an image and fashion consultant. So how do you dress retro for a man? You don't have to take it literally if you don't want to. If you're not the type of guy that wants to spend your Saturday afternoons running around to vintage stores looking for clothing. I got you covered here. Here's what you can do instead. You can take key pieces that are actually in stores now. You can find things in department stores all the time that have sort of that vintage feel to it. For instance, take a look at this vest and shirt and tie combination. It kind of gives that look that you're wearing something a bit vintage without being so literal. Now if you do want to go literal and you do want to scour the vintage stores, I suggest you be careful of what you purchase. Make sure that the product is not rotted, that the seams are not disintegrating, there are not moth holes in the items. Those things you really can't repair too well and you can't do anything about it. So look for things that are sturdier. Ties are a great thing to find in vintage stores. You can get some really great retro ties, but make sure again that the fabric is not rotted. You know give it a nice little tug to make sure that it doesn't pull apart. So you've got some ideas here on how to dress vintage. Now another thing you could do is if you wanted to take this vest off you could easily add a sweater that is going to give you a little bit more of that vintage feel, that collegiate look if you want to go that route. That would be a great addition instead of the vest over this shirt and tie. So those are some ideas today on how to dress retro. I'm Lori Ann Robinson. Thanks for joining.
