Hi, I'm Dr. Ahuva Gamliel from MiBaSo in sunny South Florida. Our topic today is how to mash herbs. Well these are different kitchen utensils that you can utilize. The first one is a mortar and pestle. You can use hummus beans for this and make a nice chunky hummus with garbanzo beans. The next way that you can mash herbs is with a knife and cutting board. I'm mashing garlic here and you can use it of course in cooking and also different therapeutic preparations. To mash dried herbs, you can use either a coffee grinder or a Magic Bullet. This is great to powder your herbs in order to encapsulate them to take for therapeutic purposes. Another way to mash herbs is by using this garlic press. Place the garlic into the press and press down. It's very simple and you can use the garlic in your cookings and other herbal preparations. I'm Dr. Ahuva Gamliel. Thanks for watching, be well.
