Hi, I'm Erin Hendley professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to achieve a split lip look. So what we're going to do is firs trip off a time piece of toilet paper about yea big, and we're going to use our adhesive is going to be our eyelash glue. So we're just going to take off a little bit, decide where we want our split lip to be and just place the adhesive where we're going to put our toilet paper on top. Split lips usually go a little bit below the actual lip line so I'm going to extend it a bit. Let it get tacky a little bit, wait a couple of seconds before you put your toilet paper on. And I like to tear a little hole in it before we put, put it on, but you can wait to split it until after as well. So now, I'm going to apply the piece of toilet paper to the lip and after that we're going to go back over it and layer it with some more eyelash glue. Just really make sure that the ends are patted down so it looks as realistic as possible, we want it to be a second skin. This glue will dry clear so it won't be as visible. You can over the top too. So we're just going to let that dry for one second and get our concealers ready. The concealer is what is going to cover the white and actually make it look like the lip is split. And so we want it to look flesh toned. And we really just want to white out the rest of the lip for the moment and make sure that we let the rest of the white dry before we go over it. Sometimes it's beneficial just to use a brush on packed on product just as well. I'm getting it nice and crusty looking, it's what a good split lip is. And then a split lip wouldn't be gory enough without a little fake blood so just go down the center with it. And then it's always nice to give a little bit of purple on the outside of it, just to really give it some discoloration. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you how to the split lip effect with makeup.
