Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to get a frozen makeup effect for your face. So if someones frozen they're usually going to collect a lot of snow and ice where their hair follicles are so we have our hair and that's be the main focus and feature of where we apply the white snow or ice. So I'm just taking a spoolie with a white cream and really just going to swipe the white into the hairs. This is already giving a very frozen just white snow look almost as if little white icicles are hanging off the hair. Combing upward is important just because the hair will be standing straight on edge from this skin because it's cold outside. And it's also just a good idea to just put a little on the eyelashes. If water falls and freezes on the eyelashes it will collect there. And be sure to get the bottom ones it's always important. And if we want to make the lips look a little bit more frozen we're going to go in with our blue, our very light blue and our white, combination of the two just to make the lips look a little deadened and iced over. Just iced over it doesn't need to look pretty, frozen doesn't necessarily mean pretty, it means lifeless. Now the skin doesn't need foundation or anything on it because it doesn't need to be flawless. If we're going for a frozen effect we might however want to use a slight bit of iridescent pigment, just on the brows in very sparse areas. This isn't a beauty pretty look it's just mimicking the snow and maybe the reflection of the icicles that might have acquired by being frozen throughout the duration of the freezing process. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you how to get a frozen makeup look by using makeup.
