Hi. I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to tell you the best makeup that goes with a white, black or brown dress. So even if you're wearing all those three colors at once, or if you're wearing the dresses individually colored, the answer is always the same, that the makeup should always complement the outfits. So what we need to do is stay with a neutral pallet. And that consists of using your mauves, your neutrals, your browns and your blacks. So we're just going to do a simple smokey eye. So we're just going to go in with our tan color, pretty much skin color. So we're just going to tap it all over the lid. This is just to balance out the eye and the skin and eliminate any redness and it's going to be a good platform for any color we put on the eyes. And after we've applied our all over color, it's good to go in with a nice brown. And a very popular method for today which is fitting for the model is just to go in an contour our creases slightly. It's just going to give good dimension along with color and just create a great shape. And like I said we're not going too heavy because we have a nice pallet going on with the outfit. And the makeup is just complementing what we're wearing. You don't want too much going on, there should not be one focal point. So we're going to bring it down just slightly to really create that shape and dimension and just blend out any of the edges. Don't go in too far. We're trying to keep the eye open and pretty and just rounded out and sculpted perfectly. After that if you want more of a night time look, it's definitely acceptable to go in with a little bit of a black just on the outer edges, minimal, minimal, just on the end and then go an blend. This is just creating with three colors. It gives the ultimate dimension and just gives that extra pop. So we're just tapping the color, placing it and blending it. And just for one more quick aspect to the eye, we are going to put a little bit of a shimmery color on the dome of the eye working inward. If you want a nice shimmery look you can put two layers on it or you can wet it with your brush to make it more metallic. For daytime, just put one layer. And it'll just open the eye and give it a nice complementary tone to whatever you're wearing. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you makeup that can complement a brown, black or white dress.
