Hi, my name is Erica Lugbill, and I'm an interior designer in Chicago. I own Lugbill Designs, which is a high-end residential remodeling and interior design firm. Today, I'm going to be covering what color to paint your walls with a black comforter. The great thing about black, is that it's a neutral and you can't go wrong with the wall color. The one thing to keep in mind, and to avoid, is doing too dark of a color on your walls. This just creates a big blob of a space, you want to have that contrast between the bedding and between the walls. Or else, everything starts to blend into each other and it just doesn't look interesting, it just feels dark and cave-like. So, when you're looking at your paint colors, really anything in the light to medium tones works with black. I love the way the blue pairs with the black, the teals, greens look fabulous with the lack. And if you're going with neutrals, grays work really well. Again, just keep in mind, don't go too dark, like this paint color is way too dark, the comforter's just going to disappear. Stay in this family and then, you can't go wrong, as long as you keep contrast. Thanks for watching my video, I hope you found these tips helpful, to see more of my work, go to LugbillDesigns.com.
