My name is Erica Lugbill, and I'm an interior designer in Chicago. I own Lugbill designs, which is a high-end residential remodeling and interior design firm. Today, I'm going to be covering what color to paint your trim when your walls are vintage gray. The thing to avoid with vintage gray walls a wood stained trim. I think the combination of the wood and the gray walls can look kind of dated and a little bit dingy. A great option is to paint your walls, or to paint your trim a very fresh, bright, crisp white. And this is a classic look you can't go wrong with. I love the way the contrast works within the space and I think it just really pops the gray tones on the wall. A second option is to paint your trim work a deep charcoal. This is a very rich monochromatic look. It's a very elegant look overall. And I just love the way that it warms up a space because and creates drama. It's also great to paint your doors a deep charcoal color too. This is just an awesome way to finish off your space. Thanks for watching my video. I hope you found these tips helpful. The see more of my work go to
