Hi, everyone. My name is Joi, makeup artist in New York. And today, I’m going to talk to you about brushing your lips. A couple things that you’re going to need are a toothbrush, and some lip balm. So, brushing the lips is actually very helpful if you’ve got dry or chapped lips, or if you just want to exfoliate a little bit. So, you’re going to take your toothbrush, and you’re going to go in in small circular motions, top and bottom lip. And, it’s okay if you see just a little bit of the dead skin coming off. Just make sure that you’re being gentle – you don’t want to agitate the skin, okay? So, you do that for a couple minutes, and then you want to follow up with your lip balm. This one that I’m using has Vitamin E and a little bit of shea butter in it, which are really good ingredients for moisturizing the lips and keeping them supple. And, this is not something that you want to do every day. You don’t want to agitate your lips by brushing them – the skin is very, very delicate there. Can do this at night, or after your shower when the pores are open, maybe once or twice a week, depending on how dry your lips are. So, I hope this is helpful to you all. Thanks for watching, and again, I’m Joi.
