Hi, everyone. My name is Joi, and I'm a Makeup Artist in New York. And today, I'm going to tell you how to keep from getting white residue on your lips when you're wearing your lipstick. So, pretty much, a couple of things that we're going to need are just something to blot with and we're going to be using our lipstick. So, basically, when you get the white residue that's kind of around the inside of your mouth, it's either one of the couple of things. The first thing could be that you maybe applied too much lipstick. The second thing is that there's too much moisture, meaning that you're licking the lips and it's kind of congealing with the lipstick to make that little gummy residue. So, as far as preventing it from the start, you just want to make sure that when you're applying it, if you get, if you're using a lip brush, you want to smooth; make sure that you don't put on your lipstick too thickly. If you do happen to, you could take just like a tissue, a Kleenex and you can blot. So, you put it between your two lips and then just press. And you see how the excess kind of comes off, 'cause the white residue problem is usually around the middle of the lip, so you want to make sure that again, you're blotting, try not to lick your lips too much if you can and make sure that you know, you put on a very smooth application. So, hope this is helpful for you all. Thanks for watching, enjoy your day and again, I'm Joi. Bye.
