Hello, my name is Chef Sara. Welcome to Chef Sara All Vegan Academy and Cafe in the beautiful village of Cave Creek, Arizona. Today, I'm going to show you how to make a wonderful carrot and sweet potato juice. We'll start with the sweep potato. It's loaded with beta carotene, it's fabulous. Let's turn the machine on. This is an angel juicer. It's a fabulous, let me talk about the angel juicer, it's really a low masticating juicer. It's fantastic. You get very little foam, the pulp comes out really dry. I love that and it's completely stainless steel. It does a great job on your juices and also on your wheat grass. So let's turn it on and start juicing the sweet potato. The sweet potato is also very good for pancreas. It looks like the pancreas and there is also an exception to the rule, when you are juicing, you are allowed to mix vegetables and fruit together, but that's the only exception, okay because we are removing all the fiber out. I don't recommend mixing fruit and vegetable in your smoothies, it's a pretty bad combination. And now we're going to push in the carrots, loaded with Vitamin C and beta carotene, excellent for you. And of course if you like this juice to be sweeter than what it is, you can add an apple. I recommend a Granny Smith's apple. It goes very well with it. I think one more carrot would do the job right here. Also we can add the ginger. So I've got about one inch of ginger in here and ginger it's great for anti-inflammation. It's fabulous to lower inflammation in your body. Okay and here it is. We are done, let's pour this juice in here, just fabulous, look how beautiful colored. Wow, this orange is what gives it the beta carotene, it's fabulous. Okay, for more information about my book, my school, my restaurant, please visit Chef Sara at Chefsara.com.
