Hi, I'm Chelsea Silverman from Juiceateria. I'm the Executive Vice President and Health Director here and I would love to show you how to make a raw vegan spinach avocado dip. So, first we're going to explain our ingredients. We have avocado, our onion, our cucumber, spinach, nutritional yeast, garlic, fresh tahini and some mineral sea salts. So, we'll start with our avocado and we'll slice it in the middle, open it up and be careful when you take the pit out. Just toss that. Just scoop out the avocado with whichever spoon you can find near you and we'll just dump it to the side for now and get rid of the layers. And this is a kind of hard avocado. Next, we'll put our avocados into our blender which will be blending everything together to make our spinach dip. Next, we'll take our cucumber. This is a large cucumber which is all good because cucumber is really high in natural water and it's the freshest water that we can get today. So, we'll cut up our cucumber and put that in with our avocado into our blender. Next, our onion. Now, you might see me cry and I don't let everybody see me cry, so, I guess you can take advantage of this. We'll cut about a quarter cup of onion and we'll put that in with our avocado and our cucumber. Now, with this blender, you don't have to cut up too much because the blade is so strong that it will just chop everything up for us. Next our fresh garlic. Don't be kissing anybody after this meal 'cause this is raw garlic. We'll take about three cloves and toss into the blender. And your hands might get sticky after this too and smelly. Okay, dokey, and we'll add our spinach of course 'cause it is a spinach avocado dip, about a cup of spinach, two cups is sufficient. Give it a nice green color. Our nutritional yeast, two tablespoons is perfect; gives it a nice cheesy flavor ad it's healthy. And next our tahini. Tahini is just ground of sesame seeds, so it's really good for you. It's really high in calcium and iron, great for your bones. And you'll put in a nice tablespoon, two tablespoons. And lastly, our mineral sea salt. Everyone get scared of sea salt because of the bloating that can occur, but mineral salt is so good for you. It actually has minerals that we can't get really anywhere else. So, if you're going to have salt, make it mineral salt. And then, we go blend it up. So, now, we'll blend up and our spinach avocado dip. I use a Vitamix, but any blender will do. Blend it down real well, try to mush all the ingredients together. And voila, hmm. So, here we have it, our finished product; our raw vegan spinach avocado dip, soy-free, wheat-free, gluten-free, full of enzymes and vitamins. So, eat healthy, be happy.
