Hello there, my name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister, and today we're going to demonstrate some bridge and tunnel exercises for the abdominals. Now, the bridge and tunnel exercises are some of the most effective not just for the abdominals, but for the entire core area because the core is consisting and more than just your abs. Remember, your core is your lower back and your obliques and everything emanates from the core. So, we're going to show you three really quick core moves that you can do that employ the bridge and tunnel techniques, alright. So, the first one is called our basic plank which is a phenomenal exercise. So, we're down on our plank position and as you see right here, the hips and heels were aligned. We're not peaking up and we're not valleying down, we're right in the peak position. We're going to keep our head focused on our fist. If you bring that head up too far under the body, then we create more pressure on the shoulders than the core. Alright, that's the first one. We want to hold this for about 30 seconds. Then the second one is a side plank. We're here on our side, we're lifting, arms up and you want to hold this position. Notice just like a ramp, you feel it all in the core right in the abdominal area. And our last move is a plank. We're going to tunnel through this bridge. We're going to go down, reach through and then go right back up. We're going to go down, using the core to balance and then come right back up. Alright.
