Greetings. My name is Jay Jones celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister, and today we're going to talk about some exercise tips for the android mesomorph body type. The android mesomorph body type, what exactly is that? I know it's a mouthful. Well basically the android mesomorph body type is the thick set, someone who has broad shoulders, whose waist isn't very accentuated and weight is gained it typically is gained on the upper part of the pelvis. The shoulders get broad, the neck thickens. And it's a thick look most of the time. We used to call them husky back when I was younger. But idea is this body type, the android mesomorph can definitely benefit from a variety of aerobic exercises. Swimming, brisk walking, light jogging. And some of the best android mesomorph exercises include light weights as well. So what you want to do is you want to grab some five, ten pound dumbbells. Do basic dumbbell curls. We're going to imagine the dumbbells are in my arms and we're just curling. Basic moves, five or ten pounds, just curl. Then we want to actually increase after the first ten because you can probably do twenty. We're going to go as hard as we can for the last ten. So the first ten we're going to curl gently, for the last ten we're working really hard. Those are one of the great exercises to get your heart rate up and still start burning fat. These are just a few of the exercises along with basic squats. And there's a phenomenal exercise that is very easy on the joints called up and down. Let' me demonstrate right quick, very simple. You want to go down on the ground and then push yourself back up, and a little hop at the end. We go down on the ground once again, push yourself back up and then hop at the end. It gets your heart rate going, gets your blood flowing and the resistance from getting up and down certainly builds muscle tone. Now if you really want to ramp it up just go outside and play like a kid. Those are always the very best ways to get some good fresh air and to burn a lot of calories.
